It is this technology that Xiaomi intends to use in its future smartphones. It is reported that the company will introduce the first devices with a fingerprint scanner in the LCD area next year. The cost of such devices, according to preliminary data, will be less than 300 US dollars.
According to International Data Corporation (IDC) calculations, Xiaomi is now in fourth place in the list of leading smartphone manufacturers. Last year, the company sold 122,6 million devices, occupying 8,7% of the world market.
