Earlier today, the head of Xiaomi published another series of 100-megapixel images for use as desktop wallpaper. All photos were taken on the camera of the company's recently presented flagship device - Xiaomi Mi 10. The selection contains breathtaking photographs of our planet taken from a great height.
The second batch of high-definition images published in the microblog of the founder of Xiaomi Lei Jun (Lei Jun) in the popular social network Weibo in China. The images capture Antarctica, tropical regions, ocean coasts, mountain ranges and large plains. In some of the shots, clouds were in the field of view of the lens, which suggests from what height the photos were taken.
In general, this move is reminiscent of Xiaomi's previous experience, when the Redmi Note 7 smartphone was sent into space in a hydrogen balloon. The device climbed to a height of 33 m, took several pictures at a temperature of -375 degrees Celsius and, without losing performance, was safely returned to Earth.
