As Mr. Xiaoshuang has now reported, Xiaomi is designing premium smart TVs. They will be equipped with an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screen, which will provide excellent color reproduction and deep blacks.
Xiaomi intends to introduce OLED TVs in the first quarter of next year. Most likely, such panels will have a 4K resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels). There is no information about the display size yet.
In addition, Li Xiaoshuang said that Xiaomi is developing 8K standard devices. Such panels, we recall, have a resolution of 7680 × 4320 pixels, which is four times more than 4K. However, nothing has been announced yet about the release date of 8K TVs under the Xiaomi brand.
