In a press release published on the Chinese social network Sina Weibo, Xiaomi spoke about the disruption in its work caused by the epidemic. The company indicated that the latest beta version could not arrive in time for a number of smartphones: Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro, Mi 9, Mi 8, Redmi K20 Pro, Mi 6, Redmi K30, Redmi K30 5G, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Mi MIX 2S. The company has promised to bring MIUI 11.2 20.2.19 beta versions to these devices in the coming weeks.

Xiaomi is not the only brand that is changing its plans due to the epidemic. In recent weeks, for example, OnePlus and Realme have faced similar challenges. In particular, OnePlus has delayed the rollout of security patches for the OnePlus 7T by two weeks. The same story is observed with Realme: the company has postponed the firmware update for its Realme X2.
