XyGrib 1.2.6

On July 5, a new version of the program for visualizing weather information was released, distributed in GRIB format files versions 1 and 2. This version continues to expand the list of supported weather forecast models and add the ability to view additional data for already supported models.

  • added NOADD GFS model
  • ECMWF ERA5 model reanalysis data became available
  • GFS reflectivity data became available

It should be noted that the XyGrib project is a development of the previously known zyGrib project. Version 1.0.1 of XyGrib was released based on zyGrib 8.0.1. Of the significant differences between XyGrib, it should be noted that it supports more than one weather forecast model (the zyGrib program supports only the GFS model), the transition to a new version of the data storage server (which is supported by the OpenGribs project) and the default GRIB v2 format, the ability to update the version programs using native application tools (including those for Linux).
