Yandex has announced the release of a new version of its browser for computers running Windows operating systems.
Yandex.Browser 19.9.0 received a number of improvements and innovations. One of them is built-in music playback controls on websites. A special remote appeared on the sidebar of the web browser, which allows you to pause and resume playback, as well as switch the track. The new control method is fully compatible with most popular web music services, and the pause button works with any sound on all sites.
There are two new buttons on the sidebar of the browser. One of them shows a magnifying glass: this button is responsible for quickly launching search tools on the open page. This tool was hidden in Yandex.Browser before, but now it has become available in one click.
The second button - with a bell icon - opens the notification center from Yandex services: it will help you not to miss a reply to a comment in Zen or Yandex.District.
You can download the new version of the web browser . In the future, the tools that have appeared will be available in browser editions for macOS and Linux.
