The press service of "Yandex" told RBC that the requirements of the law on the provision of information necessary for decoding messages, according to the company, do not apply to the transfer of secret services of the keys necessary to decrypt all traffic. According to the company, the implementation of the so-called "Yarovaya law" should not lead to a violation of the confidentiality of customer data.
βThe purpose of the law is to respect the interests of security, and we fully share the importance of this goal. At the same time, the enforcement of the law is possible without violating the privacy of user data. We consider it important to strike a balance between user security and privacy, as well as to take into account the principles of equal applicability of regulation for all market participants,β the Yandex press service emphasized.
