As for the content that YouTube Gaming users may have saved to playlists or watched over the years, that will have to be said goodbye. The company said that data from YouTube Gaming cannot be transferred to the main service. And many users have already reacted very negatively to this.

For example, a user named Luke, who is known as kwingsletsplays on Youtube, has a bunch of videos with walkthroughs, step-by-step instructions, and so on, dating back to 2009. And now it could all be lost.

He also stated that the main YouTube service is focused on trending Fortnite videos or personal recordings, which can be inconvenient for gamers and game streamers. However, it seems to be all about business. Twitch continues to dominate the streaming market.
