Falcom has announced that the Japanese action role-playing game Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will be released on iOS and Android. The mobile version will be published by Linekong Entertainment Technology.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana was released on PlayStation Vita in July 2016. The game appeared on the PlayStation 4 in May 2017, reached the PC in April 2018, and came to the Nintendo Switch in June 2018. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana tells the story of Adol's adventure on a cursed island. He and his crew are shipwrecked and forced to survive among the monsters.
The hero and his team will have to build a village and challenge monsters, as well as explore the island and find mysterious ruins. In addition, Adol constantly dreams of a mysterious blue-haired girl who lives in an unknown world. The brave hero will have to deal with what is happening on the cursed island, as well as solve the mystery of a beauty named Dana.
A release date for Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana for iOS and Android has yet to be announced.
