Already on the first of May, AMD will celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of its existence. And now, a week before the anniversary, VideoCardz has published images of the new Ryzen 7 2700X 50th Anniversary Edition processor, which is being prepared on the occasion of the company's half-century anniversary.
The new Ryzen 7 2700X 50th Anniversary Edition processor will ship in a special black and gold box. The novelty will be equipped with the most advanced and brightest cooling system from AMD itself - Wraith Prism with customizable RGB pixel lighting.
The processor itself will also differ from the standard version: the engraved signature of Lisa Su, President and CEO of AMD, flaunts on the chip cover. But in terms of clock speeds, the novelty will not differ from the standard Ryzen 7 2700X: the base frequency is 3,7 GHz, and up to 4,3 GHz in Turbo mode. On our own, we add that, perhaps, the Ryzen 7 2700X 50th Anniversary Edition will be selected chips with the best overclocking potential.
