Benchmark GeekBench has become a source of information about the new smartphone of the Taiwanese company HTC, which has not yet been officially presented.
The device has the code designation HTC 2Q741. It runs on the Android 9 Pie operating system.
The MediaTek MT6765 processor, also known as the Helio P35, is listed as the electronic βbrainβ. The chip combines eight ARM Cortex-A53 computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2,3 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics controller.
Of the other characteristics of the upcoming novelty, only the amount of RAM is known - 6 GB. Display and camera options, unfortunately, are not disclosed.
Thus, the HTC 2Q741 smartphone will be classified as a mid-range device. The device is also in a modification with an eight-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 710.
According to IDC, in the first quarter of this year, 310,8 million "smart" cellular devices were sold worldwide. This is 6,6% less compared to the first quarter of 2018, when shipments of smartphones were 332,7 million units.
