Service is a tool for employment. We use educational methods to select the best specialists for business tasks. We collected and typified the vacancies of major players in the IT business, created courses based on the requirements received. We made agreements that our best students will be interviewed for relevant positions. We connect what we hope are the best employers with the most motivated professionals.
Now we are making a pilot, launching the first Java course. Four more courses are on the way, about 40 are planned. But at this stage, it is important for us to test our educational technology, to make sure that our product is of high quality.
Who are we?
We are a startup, but we are not starting from scratch. Our team has extensive experience in preparing students for work in IT production. We shared our own experience that we gained in successful commercial projects: knowledge of truly loaded servers, truly fault-tolerant solutions, combat-proven security systems and user interfaces that millions of people used.
Our graduates successfully work in the best IT companies around the world. Many of them also teach.
In the requirements for the applicant for the vacancy of a senior developer, they often write: work experience of 5 years or more. We have 5 years of experience in education in IT. And we are going to move to a new senior level of specialist training.

What does a specialist expect from education? We think the possibilities. More opportunities to create. A programmer is a profession about creating something new. And in order to write better and more, you need to know how and what to write. On the other hand, in order to participate in the creation of really great products, conditions are needed. If a programmer wants to create great products, he needs a good company.
Otus.ru is a project that brings together companies, professionals and education. We work for specialists. We collect the requirements of companies and create educational programs for specialists based on them. We work for companies. We prepare employees for them who pass interviews due to knowledge and experience, and not coaching for interviews.
Our task is to help you create projects that you will be proud of. And help you find a company that will appreciate you for it.
First set?
The first set is always special. All the most interesting things happen at this time. The course program for the first enrollment is always the most recent. The teacher is most attentive to the students. Listeners ask the most unexpected questions.
Of course, it takes some courage to decide to participate in something from the very beginning. And this bold act can bring very positive results. We decided on it. We invite you to join us and get the most attention, the freshest material, the most opportunities.
Group?
We planned to recruit 20-30 students. We came up with tests that were supposed to check those who want to join the course and skip only those whom we can prepare for work in partner companies. We expected that 100-150 specialists would pass the test.
So far, more than 300 people have successfully passed the test. And it's not about the test. It's just that we have 3 times more registrations than we expected.
We are still planning to recruit students before the start of classes, as promised in posts and letters. We are very pleased that you are interested in our endeavor. Now we are thinking about attracting more teachers and seminarians to the work, about increasing the group, or recruiting two groups.

The first session of the course will take place on April 1st. And we are sure that this is a great date to start a good business.
The format of the course is webinars, which will be conducted by the course instructor. Based on the material of the webinar, you will receive homework assignments that will be checked by the teacher and seminarians of the course. All webinars will be recorded and you can access the recordings at any time.
You can contact the teacher and other students at any time with a question about the material and practical work in a group specially created for the course in slack.
Classes will be held twice a week. Lecture on weekends and practice on weekdays.
The first four months you study and during the fifth write project work under the guidance of a teacher.
The five best students of the course will be interviewed by Otus partner companies. All students receive a certificate indicating progress in their studies.
