According to online sources, Huawei Founder and CEO Ren Zhengfei sent a letter to all employees of the company stating the need for a major reorganization. The letter noted that Huawei should "reorganize" within 3-5 years to develop a mode of operation to cope with US sanctions.

Among other things, the report says that US actions could lead to a deterioration in Huawei's position in the global smartphone market. “We must carry out a massive reorganization under difficult and difficult conditions, creating an invincible iron army that will help us achieve victory. We must complete this reorganization within three to five years,” Mr. Zhengfei said in a message to Huawei employees.
Previously, the founder of Huawei said that the US underestimated Huawei, arguing that the company managed to make "thorough preparations" that avoided a critical shortage of components after the imposition of sanctions.
Recall that after the US government blacklisted Huawei in May this year, US companies, including Google, Intel, Qualcomm, stopped working with the Chinese technology giant. Moreover, some companies from other countries also reduce the level of interaction with Huawei. After the recent launch of the Harmony OS software platform, the US government has postponed consideration of the issue of easing sanctions against the vendor. Ultimately, Huawei could lose access to critical software and hardware solutions backed by American companies.

Despite the fact that Huawei has its own chips and operating system, the complete termination of cooperation with American companies can turn into serious problems. It looks like Huawei needs an alternative to absolutely every US technology currently in use. Perhaps this is what the founder of Huawei wanted to say in his letter to the company's employees.
It is worth saying that Huawei's mobile business continues to show impressive results despite US sanctions. According to available data, Huawei shipped 118 million smartphones in the first half of the year, up 24 percent from the same period a year earlier. According to some forecasts, shipments may increase even more in the second half of the year.
US officials continue to say that Huawei and other Chinese telecommunications equipment suppliers pose a threat to the national security of the US and other countries. Huawei representatives have repeatedly denied these claims. So far, there has been no significant evidence that Huawei is spying for the Chinese government.
