Over the past week, protests against police brutality and racial injustice have spread across the United States and parts of the world. Many companies have issued statements expressing their support for the Black Lives Matter movement (“Black Lives Matter”). Infinity Ward has released an update to the above shooters for all platforms that adds a motion statement to the launch and loading screens. It says:
“Our society is under threat. Problems with systemic inequalities splitting our society have again come to the fore. Call of Duty and Infinity Ward stand for unity and equal opportunity. We condemn racism and injustice against the black part of our society. Until change comes and black lives matter, we won't be the way we want to be."
