Today, July 8, 2020, after almost four months of active development, our team is pleased to present a new major release of the server control panel HestiaCP.
Functionality that has been added in this release of the PU
- Ubuntu 20.04 support
- Ability to manage SSH keys both from the panel's graphical interface and from the CLI;
- Graphical file manager FileGator, SFTP (SSH) is used to perform file operations;
- The capabilities of the built-in firewall have been expanded, the capabilities of the ipset utility are used.
Now you can block lists of IP addresses.
Support for blocking via ipset by country;
- Apache2 now uses by default mpm_event instead mpm_prefork when processing requests, interacting with PHP.
This option is available for new panel installations, "from scratch";
A dedicated migration script is available for existing installations.
- You can set your PHP version for each user individually.
- Translation updates;
Support for Debian 8 (Jessie) has ended with this release.
