At Future Games Show: gamescom 2020 Edition, TeamKill Media showed off nearly six minutes of gameplay from the upcoming terrifying shooter Quantum Error, coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
In Quantum Error, you play as a firefighter who has come to rescue people from a burning research facility. As it turned out, quantum technologies were studied at the facility, and, obviously, some experiment did not go according to plan. The complex has been taken over by a dark entity that brutally kills people. You have to save the remaining survivors and destroy the evil.
The gameplay of Quantum Error is a bit like Doom 3. As the developers themselves stated earlier, this is a βspaceβ shooter. Although the complex is located near San Francisco, at some point the main character will move beyond the Earth. In order to survive in the quantum chaos, the firefighter - Captain Jacob Thomas - will need to master weapons and fight demonic creatures, as well as use rescue tools such as an ax.
A release date for Quantum Error has not been announced.
