In December 2023 and February 2024, NASA's Juno probe made its closest flyby of Jupiter's moon Io in history. If previously Juno approached the surface of Io by tens of thousands of kilometers, the latest flights were made at an altitude of 1500 km, which made it possible to obtain the most detailed images of this moon of Jupiter.
