Zotac is preparing the first low-profile version of the GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. The novelty will also be the first low-profile graphics accelerator based on the Turing GPU. The video card is simply called GeForce GTX 1650 Low Profile.
As you know, the Turing TU117 GPU, which underlies the GeForce GTX 1650, consumes only 75 watts of energy, so the appearance of a low-profile version of this video card was only a matter of time. Note that the new Zotac does not require additional power.
Externally, the GeForce GTX 1650 Low Profile is very similar to the low-profile version of its predecessor, the GeForce GTX 1050 from the same Zotac. It uses a compact cooling system with an aluminum radiator and a pair of 40 mm fans. The video card occupies two expansion slots in height. For image output, there is one HDMI, DisplayPort and DVI-D connector each. The video card will be equipped with both a standard and a low-profile mounting frame.
The full technical specifications of the GeForce GTX 1650 Low Profile have not yet been specified. They will be revealed as part of the upcoming Computex 2019 exhibition, where the video card will be officially presented. Note that the new product is unlikely to receive factory overclocking, so the graphics processor frequencies will be 1485/1665 MHz, and 4 GB of GDDR5 video memory will operate at an effective frequency of 8 GHz.
The cost and start date of sales of the Zotac GeForce GTX 1650 Low Profile are also likely to become known as early as next week within Computex. Presumably, the price of the novelty will be at the level of $170, because that is how much the most affordable versions of the GeForce GTX 1650 cost.
