New trailer posted on IGN YouTube channel Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge ("Legends of Mortal Kombat: Scorpion's Revenge"). The video showed the plot, battles and many iconic characters.
The beginning of the trailer shows how Hanzo Hasashi with children runs to the abode of his Shirai Ryu clan and sees dead bodies. The Lin Kuei ninja, led by Sub-Zero, then enter the frame. A battle begins, at the end of which the ice shinobi kills Hanzo Hasashi. He ends up in the Underworld, where he meets Quan Chi and turns into Scorpio, a hero obsessed with revenge for the destruction of his own clan.
In the second half of the trailer, viewers were shown iconic characters from the franchise participating in the Mortal Kombat tournament. Liu Kang, Kitana, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage and Shang Tsung, the organizer of the said competition, appeared on the screen. Scorpion's Revenge is produced by Warner Bros. Animation. The director was Ethan Spaulding (Ethan Spaulding), known for the cartoon "Batman: Assault on Arkham", and the script was written by Jeremy Adams. The upcoming work on Mortal Kombat contains an abundance of blood and obscene language, which is why the tape will certainly receive an adult age rating.
The animated film Scorpion's Revenge is due out before the end of June 2020.
