The LetsGoDigital resource reports that ZTE is designing a curious smartphone, the screen of which is completely devoid of frames and cutouts, and connectors are not provided in the design.

Information about the novelty appeared in the database of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The patent application was filed last year, and the document was published this month.

As you can see in the illustrations, the smartphone screen has no cutouts or holes. Moreover, there are no frames on all four sides. Thus, the panel will occupy the entire area of ​​the front surface.

At the back of the case is a triple camera. There are no visible connectors around the perimeter. In addition, there is no fingerprint scanner - it can be integrated into the display area.

Another device also appears in the patent documentation. It is equipped with a screen with narrow bezels and an oblong cutout at the top. A dual camera and a fingerprint sensor are installed at the back. At the top you can see a 3,5 mm headphone jack, at the bottom - a symmetrical USB Type-C port.

So far, the proposed design exists only on paper. ZTE does not say anything about plans to bring such smartphones to the market.
