  • The Clang compiler used to build packages has been updated to the LLVM 9.0 branch. To build all the components of the distribution, you can do with only Clang;
  • Zypper has been suggested as an alternative package manager;

  • Added support for compressing packets using the zstd algorithm instead of the previously used "xz". Rebuilding packages in the zstd format resulted in a slight increase in the size of the packages, but a significant acceleration of unpacking;
  • Added support for AV1 video codec to Ffmpeg package using dav1d and nvdec/nvenc for NVIDIA GPUs. Chromium includes VAAPI support for hardware video decoding in h264 and vp9 formats;
  • Instead of firewall-config, to simplify the firewall configuration, it is proposed NX Firewall;
  • The repository has expanded the number of desktop environments available for installation;
  • A new Update Configuration utility (om-update-config) has been added to configure automatic update delivery.
