The WINE team is pleased to present the stable release of Wine 5.0.
This release includes over 7400 changes and fixes.
Key Changes:
- Built-in modules in PE format.
- Support for multiple monitors.
- Redesigned audio API XAudio2.
- Support for graphics API Vulkan 1.1.
This release is dedicated to the memory of Józef Kucia, who tragically lost his life at the age of 30 while exploring a cave in southern Poland. Józef was an important member of the WINE Direct3D team and one of the leaders of the vkd3d project. During his time, he contributed over 2500 patches to WINE.
