For the entire fiscal year 2019 (it coincides with the calendar year), Remedy received €31,6 million in revenue, which is 57,1% more than in 2018. Operating profit was €6,5 million, up 20,6% from the previous period. The main sources of income were sales Control and funds received from the publishers of the action game and CrossFire (the latter is a project of the Korean Smilegate). The studio did not disclose sales data for last year's game, but noted that it is still actively bought. According to CEO Tero Virtala, last year was a successful year for the studio also because Remedy continued to implement its long-term development plan, approved in early 2017.

Remedy now has about 250 employees. The studio is preparing two major additions to Control - both will be released this year. The game is also planned to be ported to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. In addition, the story campaign for the shareware multiplayer shooter mentioned above, called CrossFire X (it will also appear in 2020), and two mysterious projects are in development. About the first of them, the developers have already told is an online service game codenamed Vanguard. Unlike recent projects, it is not created on the proprietary Northlight engine, but on Unreal Engine 4. 15 people are working on it.

The third project is of particular interest. There are no details about it, but it is specified that the Northlight Engine acts as its technological basis, and the team of its creators has 20 people. Like Vanguard, it's very early in production, but Remedy is happy with the progress.

Players believe that the mysterious game may be the new part of Alan Wake. Once Remedy worked on Alan Wake 2, but production was stopped for the sake of Quantum Break (Microsoft was more interested in new intellectual property at the time). The developers repeated many times that they would like to return to the franchise, and last summer received publishing rights on her. The studio will be able to release the sequel on any platform - the previous parts were only available on the Xbox 360 and PC. At that time, there were no plans for a sequel, but in September, the authors hinted at it, having published DLC release plan for Control. The latest one, due out mid-year, is called AWE, and its cover is reminiscent of Alan Wake. Gamers believe that this will be a crossover add-on designed to prepare the announcement of a new game about the writer.

Whatever the unannounced game turns out to be, Remedy continues to support the franchise. Studio creative director Sam Lake serves as its executive producer.
