Remnant: From the Ashes will be released on physical media on March 17

THQ Nordic in my microblog announced that it will release a cooperative action role-playing game Remnant: From the Ashes on physical media. This will happen next month.

The release of the disc edition is scheduled for March 17, 2020 for all target platforms - PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In Western regions, this version will cost $40/€40. The price in Russia is still unknown.

In the comments under the announcement post, a representative of THQ Nordic confirmedthat the boxes with the PC version of Remnant: From the Ashes will include not only the code for downloading the project, but also a disk with installation files.

Although THQ Nordic has acquired the rights to distribute Remnant: From the Ashes on physical media, Perfect World Entertainment remains the publisher of the game.

Remnant: From the Ashes was developed by Gunfire Games, which previously released Darksiders III. The authors took the games of the Souls series as a basis, but added their own elements: shooting mechanics, co-op for three, level generation.

Remnant: From the Ashes was released on August 20, 2019, and two and a half months after the release, it sold 1 million copies worldwide. At the time, developers call this result "great achievement."

Remnant: From the Ashes awaits in 2020 additional content: The Korsus update and survival mode will be released in the spring, and a secret release is planned for the end of the year.
