Samsung has released a teaser image indicating that a presentation of new mobile devices will take place on April 10.
Observers believe that at the upcoming event the South Korean giant will announce new smartphones of the Galaxy A family. One of them will supposedly be the Galaxy A90.
According to rumors, the Galaxy A90 model will receive a Snapdragon 855 processor developed by Qualcomm. This chip contains eight Kryo 485 computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2,84 GHz, an Adreno 640 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X24 LTE cellular modem, providing download speeds of up to 2 Gbps.
According to available information, the screen size of the smartphone will be 6,7 inches diagonally. Apparently, a Full HD+ panel will be used. The equipment will include a fingerprint scanner integrated directly into the display area.
A feature of the Galaxy A90 may be a retractable camera with the ability to rotate. This module will act as both the main camera and the front camera. However, this information has not yet been confirmed.
Let us add that Samsung is a leading smartphone manufacturer. IDC analysts estimate that last year the South Korean company shipped 292,3 million “smart” cellular devices, resulting in a 20,8% share of the global market.
