On February 11, a new release of the Thunderbird 68.5.0 mail client was released. There are only two main innovations:
- Added support for Client Identity IMAP/SMTP Service Extension (allows you to identify a client using a token)
- Added the ability to identify POP3 accounts via OAuth 2.0
The following bugs have been fixed:
- During account setup, the status bar becomes empty
- In the calendar, you can now remove the color for categories by default
- Prevented multiple loading of the calendar component (theoretically, now it will eat less memory)
- The "Today" panel now knows how to save its width.
- Security fixes
