Gainward has presented its own series of GeForce GTX 1660 graphics accelerators, sales of which will begin in the near future.
Let us recall the main characteristics of the GeForce GTX 1660 solutions. This is a TU116 chip in a configuration with 1408 CUDA cores and 6 GB of GDDR5 memory with an effective frequency of 8000 MHz and a 192-bit bus. The base frequency of the GPU is 1530 MHz, the boost frequency is 1785 MHz.
Three video cards debuted in the Gainward GeForce GTX 1660 family - the GeForce GTX 1660 Pegasus OC, GeForce GTX 1660 Pegasus and GeForce GTX 1660 Ghost OC models. Versions with the OC index in the name are factory overclocked: the maximum core frequency reaches 1830 MHz.
Pegasus accelerators are suitable for use in compact desktop computers and home multimedia centers. These solutions are equipped with a single-fan cooling system and are 168 mm long.
The GeForce GTX 1660 Ghost OC card, in turn, received a cooler with two fans. The length is 235 mm.
All new products have a two-slot design. DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI (2.0b) and DVI-D interfaces are provided for connecting monitors. There is no information on price at the moment.
