Yandex is experiencing numerous outages across Russia. This was reported by the resource DownDetector. The most significant access issues to services, according to the map, are noted in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Residents of Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, and other cities are also reporting problems. Interestingly, similar issues are not being tracked in other countries. However, users in Ukraine may also experience slowdowns when trying to access the services. Notably, access through Tor is functioning normally.
It has been reported that outages have been recorded in Yandex.Taxi, Yandex.Disk, Yandex.Drive, Yandex.Maps, as well as with the voice assistant 'Alice'. These issues began around 3:30 PM MSC.
On Yandex's page on the social network VKontakte about the email service being unavailable, and on Twitter, the team confirming the existence of problems.
‘At the moment, some users are experiencing brief difficulties accessing Yandex services. Our specialists are working to resolve these issues,’ it states. No information has been provided yet regarding the timeline for service restoration, causes, or other details.
