Microsoft has released a fresh update for users of the virtual keyboard SwiftKey. This is currently a beta version, numbered 7.2.6.24, which adds some changes and improvements.
One of the main updates is the new flexible keyboard resizing system. To use it, go to Tools > Settings > Size and adjust the keyboard to your preference. A bug that manifested on Samsung devices has also been fixed. Due to this bug, the keyboard displayed as empty on smartphones and tablets from the South Korean company.
Additionally, SwiftKey now allows users to switch the search engine used for the search function. This feature was initially introduced last year, but only supported Bing at that time. The update can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
Previously, it is worth noting that the release version of the keyboard received support for incognito mode for Android devices. This feature had long been available only in beta versions. This security should improve the input of sensitive data such as passwords, credit card numbers, and more.
The same functionality is expected for the Windows 10 version, which will happen in April. The keyboard version for iOS currently lacks an automatic incognito mode due to the sufficiently closed Apple ecosystem. This prevents the release of such a keyboard.
