🥇MATE 1.24 Release

The release of the MATE desktop environment version 1.24 has occurred.

New features include:

The Eye Of MATE application, the panel-multimonitor applet, and the panel-background applet have been adapted for use with Wayland. Support for Wayland in the MATE panel has been improved.
The system monitor applet can now display information about NVMe drives.
Enhanced support for high-resolution displays (window manager marco, network configuration applet, Control Center, etc.).
Support for mouse cursor acceleration profiles.
Support for elogind for MATE Screensaver and MATE Session.
A 'Do Not Disturb' mode has been added for the notification manager.
Window and workspace switching has been redesigned. Dialogs for switching are now implemented in an OSD (on-screen display) style, are more customizable, and support arrow key navigation.
