The Ubuntu RescuePack 21.05 build is available for download, allowing for a complete antivirus scan to detect and remove various malware and computer viruses from the system without launching the main operating system. Using an external boot disk prevents malicious software from countering the neutralization and recovery of an infected system. This build can be regarded as a Linux alternative to disks like Dr.Web LiveDisk and Kaspersky Rescue Disk. <\/p>\n

Included are antivirus packages ESET NOD32 4, BitDefender, COMODO, Sophos, eScan, F-PROT, Vba32, and ClamAV (ClamTk). The antivirus databases feature fresh updates from May. The disk also comes equipped with tools for recovering deleted files. It supports data scanning in file systems including FAT, FAT32, exFAT, NTFS, HFS, HFS+, btrfs, e2fs, ext2, ext3, ext4, jfs, nilfs, reiserfs, reiser4, xfs, and zfs.
