The experimental branch of the open implementation of WinAPI \u2014 Wine 6.11 has been released. Since the release of version 6.10, 33 bug reports have been closed and 290 changes have been made. <\/p>\n

The C runtime has been updated to include all missing implementations of mathematical functions from the Musl library code.\n
The libmpg123 library has been used to support MP3 format in macOS. <\/li>\n
Bug reports related to the operation of games have been closed: Hogs of War, Starcraft 2, Might & Magic Clash of Heroes, Roller Coaster Rampage, Pendulumania, Stories: The Path of Destinies, Two Worlds Epic Edition, Amnesia: Rebirth, Starcraft Remastered, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Just Cause 4, Wizard101. <\/li>\n
Bug reports related to the following applications have been closed: Excel 2007, Microsoft SyncToy 2.1, WHO Anthro, Roblox, PDF Eraser, Nexton LC-ScriptEngine, Ri-li 2.0.1, EmuMovies Sync 2.x, Notepad++ v7.5.9, Memu, ZynAddSubFX 3.0.3, Foxit Reader 5.1, Otvdm, WeChat. <\/ul>\n
At the same time, the Wine Staging 6.11 project has been released, which forms extended builds of Wine, including incomplete or risky patches that are not yet suitable for inclusion in the main Wine branch. Compared to Wine, Wine Staging offers 578 additional patches. <\/p>\n
In the new release, synchronization with the Wine 6.11 codebase has been implemented. Two patches have been transferred to the main Wine branch: support for calculations of sinh\/cosh\/exp\/pow with increased precision in msvcrt and a prohibition in ntdll on freeing the stack for the current thread. Efforts have been made to eliminate warnings during compilation from the patches. <\/p>\n
Additionally, it is worth mentioning the testing of release candidate Proton 6.3-5, a package developed by Valve for running Windows games on Linux. The new version includes several changes aimed at improving graphics quality in the following games: Bloodstained, Deep Rock Galactic, The Medium, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Resident Evil 2 (2019), Resident Evil 3 (2020), Team Sonic Racing. DXVK (1.9) and vkd3d-proton have been updated. DXGI, provided in DXVK, has been used for default GPU selection. Improved support for game controllers in Hades and many other games based on the Unity engine has been added. Support for the following games has been added: <\/p>\n
