The tenth point release of the Debian 10 distribution has been published, including accumulated package updates and fixes in the installer. This release contains 81 stability issue fixes and 55 vulnerability patches. <\/p>\n

Key changes in Debian 10.10 feature the implementation of SBAT (UEFI Secure Boot Advanced Targeting) support, addressing issues with certificate revocation for bootloaders signed for UEFI Secure Boot. The default repository name in the APT package manager has been changed from stable to oldstable. The clamav package has been updated to the latest stable version. The sogo-connector package, which is incompatible with the current version of Thunderbird, has been removed. <\/p>\n

Installation packages will be prepared for download and installation from scratch within the next few hours, along with a live iso-hybrid with Debian 10.10. Systems that were installed earlier and are kept up to date receive updates present in Debian 10.10 through the standard update installation system. Security fixes included in new Debian releases are available to users as updates are released via the security.debian.org service.
