After 10 years of development, the first stable release of the Bespoke Synth project is now available. This modular software synthesizer allows users to generate and process sound through a visual representation of audio signal routing between various modules, shaping and altering the waveform, and applying effects. The project's code is written in C++ and is distributed under the GPLv3 license. Ready-made builds have been prepared for Linux, macOS, and Windows. <\/p>\n

One of the features of the application is the ability to change the environment on the fly \u2014 you can add and change nodes without interrupting music playback. More than 190 modules are available for creating sound chains. It supports the connection of ready-made VST plugins and the quick creation of custom processors in Python. Tools for integration with MIDI controllers are provided. <\/p>\n

The project's approach to monetization is interesting \u2014 in addition to the free version, two paid options are offered \u2014 bespoke plus ($5) and bespoke pro ($15), which are identical to the free version and do not include extended features, as stated in the comparison table on the website (it is implied that if the user enjoys the program, they can voluntarily support the project by purchasing a paid version).
