GitHub has announced the addition of Rust language support to the GitHub Advisory Database, which publishes information about vulnerabilities affecting projects hosted on GitHub, as well as tracking issues in packages related to vulnerable code. <\/p>\n

A new section has been added to the database, allowing for the tracking of vulnerabilities in packages containing Rust code. Currently, information on 318 vulnerabilities in Rust projects is provided. Previously, the database supported repositories featuring packages based on Composer (PHP), Go, Maven (Java), npm (JavaScript), NuGet (C#), pip (Python), and RubyGems (Ruby).
