On October 28, 2021, SUSE S.A. announced the acquisition of NeuVector, Inc., a company specializing in container security.<\/p>\n

NeuVector was founded in 2015 by Feng Huang and Gary Duan. The headquarters of NeuVector is located in San Jose, California, serving all industries, including highly regulated sectors such as financial services and the public sector.<\/p>\n

The total acquisition amount is $130 million: $101 million in cash from existing SUSE cash reserves, and $29 million through the issuance of 695,853 new shares.<\/p>\n

Building on the successful integration of SUSE and Rancher, the company sees significant cross-selling opportunities within SUSE and Rancher's customer base. The combined offering is expected to enhance SUSE's sales conversion and open new opportunities for expanding the company's cloud business. NeuVector is a well-established and growing business that will contribute to SUSE's revenue growth. In the 2022 fiscal year, SUSE plans to invest in the combined NeuVector and SUSE Rancher product in the market, anticipating that this will further accelerate profit growth in the 2023 fiscal year.<\/p>\n
