Three new products based on the ALT Tenth Platform (p10 Aronia) have been released: \u201cAlt Workstation 10,\u201d \u201cAlt Server 10,\u201d and \u201cAlt Education 10.\u201d The products are supplied under a License Agreement, which allows free use by individuals, but legal entities are only allowed to test them, and a commercial license must be purchased or a written licensing agreement concluded for use (reasons). <\/p>\n
The Tenth Platform provides users and developers with the ability to use Russian systems Baikal-M, Elbrus with official support for systems based on \u201cElbrus-8SV\u201d (e2kv5), Elvis and compatible systems, as well as a wide range of hardware from global manufacturers, including POWER8\/9 servers from IBM\/Yadro, ARMv8 from Huawei, and various single-board systems ARMv7 and ARMv8, including Raspberry Pi 2\/3\/4 boards. For each architecture, the build is done natively, without cross-compilation. <\/p>\n
Particular attention is paid to free solutions that enable corporate users to migrate from proprietary infrastructure, ensure continuity of the unified directory services of enterprises and organizations, and support remote work with modern tools. <\/p>\n

\u201cAlt Education 10\u201d \u2013 for x86 (32- and 64-bit), AArch64 (Raspberry Pi 2\/3\/4), e2k\/e2kv4\/e2kv5 (\u201cElbrus\u201d). <\/ul>\n
In the near future, \u201cBasalt SPU\u201d plans to release the distribution \u201cAlt Server B 10.\u201d Simply Linux is expected in December along with the virtualization server. The beta version of \u201cAlt Server B 10\u201d already exists and is available for testing on x86_64, AArch64 (\u201cBaikal-M,\u201d Huawei Kunpeng), ppc64le (YADRO Power 8\/9, OpenPower) platforms. A distribution of \u201cAlt Workstation K 10\u201d with the KDE Plasma environment is also expected to be released in the first quarter. <\/p>\n
Users of distributions built on the Ninth platform (p9) can upgrade the system from the p10 branch of the 'Sisyphus' repository. New corporate users can obtain test versions, while individual users are traditionally offered to freely download the required version of the 'Alt' OS from the 'Basalt SPo' website or from the new download site getalt.ru. Options for 'Elbrus' processors are available to legal entities that have signed an NDA with JSC MCST, upon written request. <\/p>\n
In addition to expanding the range of hardware platforms, several other improvements have been implemented for the OS distributions \u201cAlt\u201d version 10.0: <\/p>\n

Real-time Linux kernels: two real-time Linux kernels have been compiled for the x86_64 architecture: Xenomai and Real Time Linux (PREEMPTRT).\n
OpenUDS VDI: a cross-platform connection broker for creating and managing virtual workspaces and applications. A VDI user selects a template via the browser and connects to their desktop on the terminal server<\/a> or in a virtual machine in the cloud OpenNebula.\n
