The developments of the lxqt-sway project have been published, which focuses on porting the components of the LXQt user interface to work in the Sway environment and the compositing manager that uses the Wayland protocol. In its current form, the project resembles a hybrid of two environments. LXQt settings are transformed into a configuration file for Sway. <\/p>\n

To carry out operations such as changing virtual desktops<\/a>, splitting, and closing windows, additional menus have been implemented, making window management simpler and more intuitive for users accustomed to a classic window layout rather than the mosaic layout used in Sway with keyboard navigation. <\/p>\n
