The release of Plop Linux 23.1 is now available, a live distribution with a collection of utilities for performing current system administrator tasks, such as system recovery after a crash, backup management, operating system restoration, security checks, and automation of routine tasks. The distribution offers two graphical environments to choose from \u2014 Fluxbox and Xfce. It supports loading the distribution from a neighboring machine via PXE. The project develops independently and is not based on the package repositories of other distributions. The full ISO image size is 2.9 GB (i486, x86_64, ARMv6l), while the reduced version is 400 MB (i486, x86_64). <\/p>\n

In the new version, 183 package versions have been updated. Builds for ARM systems have been added. The FTP client Filezilla has been removed from the 32-bit builds (due to compilation issues with the current version of GCC). The ISO files now include the efiboot.img image for EFI. Build scripts have been updated.
