DXVK 2.1 has been released, providing an implementation of DXGI (DirectX Graphics Infrastructure), Direct3D 9, 10, and 11, functioning through call translation to the Vulkan API. To use DXVK, drivers supporting Vulkan API 1.3 are required, such as Mesa RADV 22.0, NVIDIA 510.47.03, Intel ANV 22.0, and AMDVLK. DXVK can be used to run 3D applications and games on Linux via Wine, acting as a higher-performance alternative to the built-in Wine implementations of Direct3D 9\/10\/11 running on top of OpenGL. <\/p>\n

On systems supporting the HDR10 color space, HDR activation is possible by setting the environment variable DXVK_HDR=1 or specifying the dxgi.enableHDR = True parameter in the configuration file. Once HDR is activated, games can recognize and use the HDR10 color space when the vkd3d-proton package version 2.8 or newer is present.
