The release of project Nuitka 1.6 is available, advancing the compiler for translating scripts written in Python into C representation, which can then be compiled into an executable file using libpython for maximum compatibility with CPython (standard CPython tools are used for object management). Full compatibility is ensured with the current releases of Python 2.6, 2.7, 3.3 \u2014 3.11. Compared to CPython, compiled scripts show a performance increase of 335% in pystone benchmarks. The project's code is distributed under the Apache license. <\/p>\n

Full compatibility with the Python 3.11 branch has been provided.\n
The testing toolkit has been revamped to ensure reproducible compilation error output.\n
An option 1;--include-distribution-metadata7; has been added to include distribution metadata.\n
For non-Windows systems, the option to include symbolic links in the standalone distribution is provided, as long as these links point to internal project files.\n
The anti-bloat plugin capabilities have been expanded and can now be applied to reduce the number of packages when using libraries like huggingface_hub, tokenizers, torch, triton, and networkx (primarily removing dependencies on pytest and IPython).\n
Performance and scalability optimizations have been made. Work on implementing optimizations of class bodies continues.\n
Dependency resolution on the macOS platform has been improved.\n
A parameter 1;--report-diffable7; has been added to ensure the generation of XML reports in a format suitable for subsequent comparison across different systems.\n
An option 1;--report-user-provided7; has been added for inserting user-provided data into reports.\n
