A new version has been released<\/a> OBS Studio<\/a> 30.0 \u2014 a powerful tool for streaming, compositing, and video recording. This program is written in C\/C++ and is distributed under the GPLv2 license, providing builds for Linux, Windows, and macOS.<\/p>\n

OBS Studio was created to develop a portable version of the Open Broadcaster Software (OBS Classic). It is not tied to the Windows platform, supports OpenGL, and can be extended through plugins. One of the features is the use of a modular architecture, separating the interface from the program's core.<\/p>\n

The program supports re-encoding of source streams, video capture during games, and streaming to popular platforms such as PeerTube, Twitch, Facebook Gaming, YouTube, DailyMotion, Hitbox, and many others. It also delivers high performance using hardware acceleration mechanisms like NVENC, Intel QSV, and VAAPI.<\/p>\n
