Some changes include: <noindex><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Snap Store <strong>disabled<\/strong>. For further information or instructions for re-enabling, you can find them at <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/linuxmint-user-guide.readthedocs.io\/en\/latest\/snap.html\">this link<\/a>.<\/noindex>  <\/li>\n<li> Guest sessions. You can enable guest sessions in the \"Login Window\" utility, but this option is currently disabled by default.  <\/li>\n<li> Touchpad drivers. This release uses the \"libinput\" driver by default (provided by the xserver-xorg-input-libinput package). If issues arise, you can switch to the alternative \"synaptics\" driver (provided by the xserver-xorg-input-synaptics package).  <\/li>\n<li> The Cinnamon desktop environment is available in version 6.0, which includes several new \"spices\" extensions, very early and experimental support for Wayland, 75% scaling support, gesture improvements, and various other desktop enhancements.  <\/li>\n<li> Wine. To install the full version of Wine, you need to enter the command apt install wine-installer in the terminal. This will also install wine-desktop-files, which will ultimately add menu items with launch buttons for regedit, for drive C:, and some other elements absent in the original Wine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Linux Mint 21.3 continues to use the Linux kernel 5.15 LTS and is based on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS packages.
