On January 10, support for the Linux kernel 4.14 LTS was officially ended, as announced through a mailing list by Greg Kroah-Hartman, the maintainer of the stable Linux kernel branch: <\/p>\n

I announce the release of kernel 4.14.336. This is the LAST released kernel of the 4.14.y series. Its official support period has now ended. PLEASE do not use this kernel version anymore, and upgrade to a newer version as indicated on the kernel.org release page. All users of the 4.14 kernel series must perform an upgrade. However, please transition to a more recent version. If you are stuck with this version because it is required by your vendor, reach out to that vendor for support regarding this deprecated kernel tree, as that is what you are paying them for :)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
The final version of the kernel included only a few bug fixes.<\/p>\n
The kernels that are still supported by the original Linux versions within the long-term series are Linux 4.19, 5.4, 5.10, 5.15, 6.1, and very recently 6.6 as the 2023 LTS kernel. The lifespan of Linux 4.19 will end at the end of this year, version 5.4 will reach EOL in 2025, and the others will conclude at the end of 2026 as part of the reduced long-term support duration.<\/p>\n
