A year after the last release, version 2401 of the Redcore Linux distribution has been published, which attempts to combine the functionalities of Gentoo with ease of use for regular users. The distribution provides a simple installer that allows for a quick deployment of a working system without requiring the recompilation of components from source code. Users are given access to a repository of pre-built binary packages, supported by a continuous update cycle (rolling model). A custom package manager, sisyphus, is used to handle packages. An ISO image with the KDE desktop, sized at 4.5 GB (x86_64), is available for installation. <\/p>\n
