This is the fourth release of Ubuntu Touch, based on the package base of Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (previous releases used Ubuntu 16.04 LTS as their base).<\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/noindex>  <\/p>\n<p>What's new in Ubuntu Touch OTA-4 Focal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Support for Oneplus One and Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphones has been added.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A setting has been added under &laquo;System Settings &gt; Security &amp; Privacy &gt; Locking and unlocking &gt; When locked: &gt; Hide notifications content&raquo; to hide notification content while the screen is locked.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>During screen lock, the estimated time until battery charging is complete is now displayed. To disable this information, a setting under &laquo;System Settings &gt; Battery &gt; Show charging&raquo; is provided.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The standard configurator (&laquo;System Settings &gt; Background &amp; Appearance&raquo;) has been enhanced with the option to switch between light and dark themes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Users can now assign a custom ringtone for each contact. The ringtone can be changed via the &laquo;Add field &gt; Ringtone&raquo; button while editing the user profile.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A confirmation prompt will display when trying to connect via adb debugger from a new computer that has not previously connected to the phone.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The ability to bind custom vibration patterns to applications has been established.
