The first issue pertains to the incorrect functioning of locks when working with directories, causing the first attempt to delete non-existent subvolumes to result in an error, while the second attempt could hang due to an unresolved lock. <\/p>\n
In the second case, a race condition could occur that might lead to premature termination of the thread in the kernel when closing files. These issues are present in all versions of bcachefs, starting with the original pull request in kernel 6.7.
