The recommended modeling engine is the open-source Ngspice. <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ngspice.sourceforge.io\/\">https:\/\/ngspice.sourceforge.io\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><\/noindex><\/noindex> <\/p>\n<p>Starting with this version, the version numbering system has been changed to CalVer. Now the first digit represents the year, the second is the release number for the year, and the third is the patch number.<\/p>\n<p>Release v24.1.0 includes both new features and bug fixes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Improved circuit display on HiDPI devices.<\/li>\n<li>New model libraries for comparator ICs, voltage regulators, reference voltage sources, audio amplifiers, loudspeakers, and thermistors have been added.<\/li>\n<li>Three-port resistors, capacitors, and diodes have been added.
