In the next 15 years, Amazon plans to spend $148 billion on data centers, which will help it cope with the expected explosive growth in demand for AI applications and other digital services, reports Bloomberg. Last year, the growth rate of AWS revenue fell to a record low, as customers sought to cut costs and postponed modernization projects. Now their spending is starting to rise again, and Amazon is preparing for future expansion of data centers and negotiating electricity supply agreements.
