Quantum has announced the ActiveScale Z200 object storage system, designed for AI applications and tasks that require intensive data exchange. With its flexible scaling, the new model is suitable for creating large data lakes. The ActiveScale Z200 is an All-Flash solution. The device is packaged in a 1RU form factor and is designed to accommodate ten NVMe SSDs with a capacity of 15.36 TB each. Thus, the total capacity is 153.6 TB.
